Welcome to the web page of Arthur Haines and the Delta Institute of Natural History.  Using the red hover buttons to the left, you can access the remainder of the web site, which includes many links of interest (e.g., contact information, class schedule, available publications).

The Flora Novae Angliae link connects users to the working draft of a new tracheophyte flora for New England.  Included is a nomenclatural checklist, color images for some taxa, and identification keys (work in progress).

For those interested in primitive living skills (including edible, medicinal, and useful plants), the Foraging link is recommended.  It provides a schedule of classes on this topic held at the Delta Institute of Natural History, as well as lays a philosophical foundation for why such skills are important in today's world.
