Printing Instructions
The PowerPoint presentations are placed on the web as .pdf files that can be downloaded by using the free viewer Acrobat Reader (available at http://www.adobe.com). Acrobat Reader will print each slide in the presentation on a separate page and enlarge the slide to fill the page. Therefore, if you do not want to waste paper and ink (or toner), you need to alter how your printer prints the .pdf file so that it will place multiple slides on a sheet of paper. For Hewlett Packard printers, select "print" from the File Menu. You will bring a menu that will look similar to the following.

Click on the "Properties" button. This will bring up a new menu with tabs at the top of the menu. Click on the "Features" tab (see below).

You now have the option to adjust how many pages print on each sheet of paper. Use the drop down menu to select "4" from the "Pages per Sheet" option box. This will significantly reduce the number of pages of paper you print.
Also, you may want to print the .pdf files in grayscale rather than color. This will increase the speed of the printing as well as reduce the amount of color ink that is used up printing out the presentations. You change the style of printing (grayscale vs. color) through a similar process as the one described above, except rather than clicking on the "Features" tab, you click on the "Color" tab and make sure your printer is set to "Print in Grayscale".
